YoctoniQ

YoctoniQ is the engine behind everything Yocto builds. It is our own software platform of advanced mathematical algorithms and optimization tools for working with 3D CAD geometry. Born from years of hands-on automation experience as the Yocto Kernel, it has grown into the platform it is today.

From CAD model to usable data

A 3D model contains far more than its shape. YoctoniQ reads the exact geometry from the model and interprets what it means for production:

• Recognition: welded constructions, assemblies, sheet metal parts, tubes and profiles, purchased parts and production features are recognised automatically.
• Extraction: dimensions, material volumes, metadata and bills of materials are extracted into clean, structured formats such as JSON, CSV or text.
• Processing: from that geometry YoctoniQ derives what a machine or a downstream system needs, such as cutting contours, toolpaths and machine programs.

Because YoctoniQ works on the model itself, there is no export, no redrawing and no second copy of the geometry to keep in sync.
